How things are going with Facebook Ads API (Marketing API)?

Hi,
I need to access to Facebook Ads/Insights API. It would be convenient to access it through Spring Social Facebook extension. But currently it is not possible.

On github I found some old implementation that was not merged in (#3). On Spring Social Facebook JIRA I also found old unresolved issue (SOCIALFB-34).

So I want to ask question: how things are going with integration between Spring Social Facebook and Facebook Ads/Marketing API? What are the plans? Why changes were not merged into master branch?

Please notice that I am willing to spend some time on this issue if it is required. I have to implement this feature no matter what. So I can share it on github if you want.

Unfortunately, due to higher priority items and the impending Facebook API v2.0 deadline, this will not make it into Spring Social Facebook 2.0. However, if you will do the work to ensure that the Ads API work can be merged in (the stuff in #3 cannot be merged into the current code) and ensure that it works, then I can add it to the TODO list to merge it and put it in some followup release (perhaps 2.1). Also, if you've not already done so, be sure to sign the individual contributor agreement at https://support.springsource.com/spring_committer_signup so that when I merge it the legal folks are happy.

Hi Craig,
how are things going? I saw you released 2.0.3 and did some nice and helpful improvement with GRAPH_API version string.
What are you thoughts about my pull request with Marketing API? I am still interested in helping out in SSF, but I need to know how/when/what.
In the meantime I was thinking whether tightly coupled GraphAPI and Marketing API is a good idea (the 90-days support after releasing new version). What are your thoughts?
