Water the Trees is an open-source platform that crowdsources tree planting and maintenance. We believe in the power of trees to restore natural habitats and aim to facilitate ongoing tree planting events to help mitigate the effects of climate change.
🌱 We are a collaborative team of open-source volunteer tree planting groups and engineers working together to plant and maintain a greater number of trees.
🌲 Our goals include purchasing and planting more trees, supporting tree planting organizations, funding our server costs, and compensating volunteers involved in the open-source project.
