Become a sponsor to Pamphile Roy
Hi π, I'm Pamphile.
I contribute to open-source software in my spare time and as part of my daily job.
Things I am doing:
- Stellar: I am the author of Tansu.dev and I contribute as I can in the Stellar ecosystem π
- SciPy: I am a maintainer and added a whole new sub-module (Quasi Monte Carlo sampling). I am spending a lot of time reviewing/triaging and when I have more time I add new features. I am also involved with our websites and community outreach.
- Scientific Python Ecosystem: I am a steering committee member, I write specifications (SPEC), I am a maintainer of the theme used by SciPy and NumPy for their organization website. And I do community outreach.
- Statsmodels: I added a technique to visualize time series, Halton sampling and part of the copula module.
- Few things in other open-source projects.
- I put my experiments as gists
Why should you sponsor me?
I am involved in open-source because I believe it is has a positive impact on the world. But open does not mean we cannot help each other financially as well.
Any level of sponsoring would help me buy better hardware, go to conferences or just buy me some coffee βοΈ (and if you're really generous I could even spoil myself with great tea from Japan π΅).
In any case, I will continue to contribute to open-source and I hope our communities will keep growing.
