End-to-end Encrypt Everything
We develop end-to-end encrypted applications and developer tools. Our aim is to help everyone preserve their privacy by offering apps that are as easy to use as non-encrypted alternatives.
Who we are
The project was started by @tasn in 2017 with the release of the first EteSync Android app, but has since seen contributions by a variety of developers, translators and contributors from all over the world.
We now have applications for syncing your contacts, calendars, tasks and notes across all major operating systems, including integrations with the GNOME and KDE Linux desktop environments.
Developer tools (Etebase)
In addition to our apps, we also offer tools for other developers to build encrypted applications.
We never want to use non-encrypted applications ever again, which is why we created EteSync in the first place. We believe that by enabling other developers to easily build encrypted applications, we can make this dream a reality. Etebase is therefore the direct continuation to our vision for EteSync.
We Need Your Help
The revenue from the hosted EteSync and Etebase services covers some of our development costs (thank you subscribers!), though there's so much more than we could do! With additional funding we could hire more developers and contractors to help build more encrypted applications and help more open-source projects to securely sync your data!
With your help, we can pay more people to work on creating great open-source, encrypted and privacy-respecting applications and make everyone's data safer! Let's end-to-end encrypt everything!
