Hello! I'm a software engineer from Hamburg, Germany, with a deep passion for open-source software. My journey in tech began with programming in Java, Kotlin, and Scala, before transitioning to a role as a project manager, where I led various projects.

Over time, I discovered Home Assistant and became incredibly enthusiastic about it. As a personal project, I started experimenting with integrating Homematic devices via the HomematicIP Cloud Integration. This hands-on learning led me to build a fully-fledged integration for the Homematic CCU named Homematic(IP) Local, based on the outstanding work of danielperna84.
