Sometimes it may be necessary to not just update packages but remove them altogether from a users computer. Is there currently any transparent process at place in the software center to get a users consent before such action is undertaken?
When snaps and flatpaks are integrated, I think it's also important to have any auto-updating functionality deactivated by default and instead have these types of updates indicated in the same way as those for native packages.
