Hi! We have a fresh Snipe-it install and we are trying to find out what we can do with it
Right now we have all our user created, and lots of assets imported from an excel file into the system
Our goal, in order to have a correct tracking of assets usage would be that I can deploy an asset to:
-An user (this is straightforward)
-AND a department, at the same time
There's nothing such as departments in Snipe-it, so I guess that Locations would be the best approach for departments, as USERS or ASSETS don't match much with the idea of departments
But you either deploy an asset to user OR to Location. Is there a way to deploy it to both? So each time that userX from DptY needs a mouse, I keep track of all the assets deployed to UserX and at the same time I also keep track of all assets deployed to DeptY
Does it make sense? Possible? Probably not, any other alternate approach?
