Snes9x game genie cheat codes #920
Comments
I see no issues with game genie codes. Do you have a sample code that you can not get working? |
The later versions use a different format for the cheat codes. Try opening a 1.52 .cht file in a text editor, and you just get gibberish. Try opening a 1.62.3 .cht file in a text editor, you get an editable file. The solution is really simple. Just retype all the cheats. |
The old format should not be an issue, current snes9x versions still support the old file format when loading cheats. |
The cheat codes that didn't work, are: C222-D4DD, DD32-6DAD, DF2C-AF6F, C264-64D7, and DFCE-64A0. However, even though after I originally reinstalled snes9x 1.62.3 64 bit, the cheat codes didn't work, after I reinstalled snes9x 1.62.3 64 bit again, the cheat codes seem to work properly, so the issue seems to be resolved. I didn't need to edit any cheat code files. Thanks. |
It seems that game genie cheat codes for super mario world on windows 7 home premium 64 bit only work with snes9x 1.52. They don't seem to work at all with snes9x 1.59.2 64 bit, or snes9x 1.62.3 64 bit (the latest snes9x version).
How can you get the game genie cheat codes to work with the latest version of snes9x? If there isn't a way to get them to work with the latest version of snes9x, it would be great if you can fix that.
