save custom categories and assignments added to local storage

some professors don't use canvas correctly, they'll import everything under 1 category which doesn't correctly show your grade. But they will have every category weight in their syllabus, so i use this tool to add my own categories adhering to the weights they give in the syllabus.

the problem is that whenever you refresh or leave the page all of the custom info will be lost and not saved to local storage, but all of the original text pasted into the first step will be saved, essentially overwriting my custom categories on step 2.

is it possible to save the second step to local storage too?
