  • Currently, we only expose a subset of the standard metrics for classification and regression tasks. XGBoost version >= 1.6 comes with a variety of new metrics that should be easy to add. We just need to make sure they perform normal with proper unit-tests. https://xgboost.readthedocs.io/en/stable/parameter.html
