Maybe remove the Listing all applications from the home page and just show plain grid of featured apps.

Proposal for the home page:

  • Some visual image on top (Aalto Apps logo, 1 sentence statement and something else such as a comic depicting a nörtti)
  • Slots for 8 applications

Slots for 8 applications are first filled using featured/recommended applications and if slots are stil left then rest of the slots are filled evenly using the most popular and best rated applications. Finally applications are sorted by their name.
