When bringing back up the focal plane for SATP1 for SCR3 on 1-2-2024 band 5 on slot 2 had an exceptionally noisey looking find-freq plot. At first I thought that the issue was just that the attenuation was too low (causing the single-to-noise ratio in the find freq plots to be poor) but as I adjusting the UC and DC attenuators I didn't see a strong dependence on the noisiness in the find freq or single resonance plots. Another thing that could cause noisiness is if the resonances are moving around when taking the find freq measurements. To check this I first confirmed that the flux ramp was off by setting it off before taking the find freq and looking at other bands to confirm that the issue was restricted to a single band (which it was). I noticed in the single resonance plots that the vertical dashed line indicating the resonance frequency was not lined up with the resonance minimum implying that the resonance was indeed moving around so I ran the single resonance mapping function multiple times and found that for the same channel the resonance was in fact moving. With the flux ramp off it seemed like the only other likely cause for this was noise/signal coming in on the detector bias lines however when I looked at band 4 (which has detectors attached to the same bias lines as band 5) I did not see the same issue so we were at a loss. As a last ditch effort we hammered that single slot and after hammering everything looked normal again. We are not sure what would cause this but seems likely that the ADC/DACs were not brought up properly for that band on the first hammer although as this behavior is difficult to replicate I will just leave this here to document this as an issue we've observed + solved with a hammer (our least satisfying solution...).
