… Hello,
I have exactly same model as you (Model, Bios etc...). I have Catalina
opencore up and running. And wanted to try Big Sur.
I've followed this guide to prepare the usb drive:
https://manjaro.site/how-to-create-macos-big-sur-11-0-1-usb-installer-for-hackintosh/
Once everything is done, I've replaced the EFI folder with yours.
Unfortunately, when I boot with the USB drive, I can not see the Big Sur
Installation partition. I can see my Catalina Drive and the recovery drive.
If I boot normally with my internal Disk, I can see Mac Os Big Sur
installation Drive. If I choose, I have a "no entry" sign and the PC stops.
Can you please help me ?
Thanks and Regards,

Thanks Enderaltin. That's what I've used. My EFI folder on installation USB drive is from here: https://github.com/shuai620/NUC7i7BNH/tree/master/OC_0.6.3/EFI But When I boot with the drive, I don't have the Big Sur Entry |
Dual booting right?
first delete the Windows folder in EFI.

No I am not dual booting. I already have a working Catalina in the SSD. I just want to erase the internal drive and install Big Sur. But unfortunately, Mac Os Big Sur installation is not showing up. |
I downloaded the installation file from here.

Ok I will download the file and try. So you have followed this guide (https://osxinfo.net/konu/macos-big-sur-intel-ve-amd-kurulum-imaji.17852/) to prepare your pendrive ? |
I've finished downloading the file (https://drive.google.com/file/d/10mWq9pq1ZPc34TI3YoW7TMbakmnKu_iQ/view?usp=sharing) I have a 12gb raw file. Can you please tell me how you can prepare this file for usb drive ? Thanks |
Sorry. I'am trying with Etcher. |
Maybe you need to modify 'Misc->Security->Scan Policy' in the config.plist to allow usb scan. |
