Copy as Image Paste as Text

TextShot is a tiny tool to extract text content from Image files. This tool internally uses Tessaract API for extraction.

Prerequisite

• Java 11 or higher is required.

Usage

• Take screenshot of the text you want to read.
• Copy screenshot to your clipboard.
• Open system tray and click on clipboard. And that's it !!!!
• Now you can paste the content as text.

You can also extract text content from a image file by selecting "choose file"

Installation

• Download the fat jar file with dependencies in target folder.
