XMPP Bridge changelog:
-------------------------------------
2009-03-13 (v1.0.6):
- Fixed mushclient.rb that was missing an 'end' statement.
- Fixed a crasher where ircclient.rb would choke upon receiving a \x01 related to an irc "ACTION". Now gets replaced with a '*'.
2009-03-03 (v1.0.5):
- Removed my [email protected] JID as a bot 'owner' entry in the default database table creation code in xmppbridge.rb (oops).
2009-03-02 (v1.0.4):
- Fixed bug in mucbot module where a call to GetTime() was failing and was preventing muc messages from being received.
- In modules that use tcp/ip sockets, when the other side has dropped the connection and we get a broken pipe error on sending, we now call disconnect() so that the user is properly removed from the bridge and put back in the lobby.
- Added a new $bridged_app_timeout variable (set using 'timeout' in the config file) that determines how many minutes to wait before disconnecting a bridged app from a user that has sent presence 'unavailable'. This gives a user the chance to reconnect and resume without losing their bridged session.
- Added better filtering of ANSI codes from text-based servers that use them (MU*, etc)
- Added a simple MUD client bridge that is similar to the MUSH client.
2009-02-05 (v1.0.3):
- mushclient.rb now filters out ascii graphics escape sequences (e.g., ^[1;32m) and replaces them with a '*'.
2009-02-04 (v1.0.2):
- moved message and presence handling code in main.rb to method calls so that a !reload would incorporate any changes made.
- fixed a bug where a user connected to a bridged app whose presence fluctuated between away and online would be re-added to $lobby_users while remaining connected to the bridged app. Now the user will remain bridged unless presence 'unavailable' is received.
2009-02-03 (v1.0.1):
- fixed a bug in main.rb module where users weren't being re-added to $lobby_users after coming back online.
2009-02-03 (v1.0.0):
- initial release
