It would be great to make an Android app that would post content to ScreenInvader using sharing intents.
To discover ScreenInvader(s) in a network automatically we can use zeroconf with Avahi.

How about a "Play URL From Clipboard" button? Not as nice as a bookmarklet or sharing intent but it saves one or two clicks.

By the way: I will present a new client frontend for ScreenInvader at the usability meetup on 8th January at Metalab https://metalab.at/wiki/Usability. Aim: Improve first-time-usage by rearranging current features. Stay tuned :).

Good idea. Not making it much easier on mobile though as if you already have a URL in the clipboard it's also easy to just paste it. However it may work as a feature of Show button.

Very excited about new front-end ideas. Will definitely be on the meeting.

I agree, a native Android app with sharing intent has an advantage to any web app.
