Signal Acquisition Instrumentation in Bioengineering (IAS)

Licenciatura em Engenharia Biomédica | Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa | 2022-2023

Description & Objectives

During this curricular unit, Signal Acquisition Instrumentation in Bioengineering, the students are expected to acquire knowledge and cognitive tools that allow them to be proficient in the concept forming, design, adaptation use and automation of instrumentation in the fields of medicine and bio-medicine. A further intente of this curricular unit is the learning of electronic instrumentation tools and analog instrumentation that allow for an adaptation and reconversion of existing laboratorial facilities, making them suitable for medical and biomedical instrumentation. Two additional components will be the learning and understanding of sensors for physical quantities and electromagnetic compatibility. Project-Based Learning (PBL), Electronic instrumentation tools, instrumentation, biomedical instrumentation
