LED.on() action not turning on leds #33

Using the default example I switch the .blink action to .on and it doesn't work

board.withLED({pin: 12}, function(err, LED) {
          if (err) { return console.log(err); }
          LED.on();
          LED.on('on', function(e) {
            console.log('LED is on!');
          });
        });
