windows , liquidsoap and gd. how to install and use

I'm trying to use video.add_text in windows. I have downloaded gd-2.0.33-1.exe and run the installer, but when I run liquidsoap i get using native implementation.

Any advise on this or how to get sdl2 installed and recognized by liquidsoap under windows would be greatly received.

... I guess I'd need to recompile for windows with gd available. ...
