restream icecast + metadata

I need some help, Currently I am using node to do this where I request the icecast stream and the read the metadata and when the keyword Advert comes in title we play a remote mp3.

The issue is that it seems to pause the icecast stream and then resume instead of skiping the length of the mp3.

What I am trying to work out, is can liquidsoap play an icecast stream, when a metadata "Advert" comes in crossfade to a remote url and play the remote and then crossfade back.
