This occurs because you have not setup your own API key, the documentation hasn't been updated in a while so this could be clearer.

To get your own API key you will need to create an account at wallhaven.cc .
Once you have created your own account navigate to the top right of the screen and open up the user menu.
Click on the Settings -> Account section, there will be a section where you can create an API key.
Simply replace EnterYourAPIKeyHere on line 25 of the code with your API key and it should work.

Oh, i see that i can't select purity and category from search...it's sad, i just wanted to download animals pictures pack for my kid, anyway thank you

No Worries, Here is a version of search that has purity and category filters.

Hope this helps.

You will need to change the API Key in this file and then you can run "python searchwithcatandpurity.py" to use the new file.
