Capturing partial amounts without support from other extensions explicitly (like WC Deposits) would make little sense. I'd leave this open, but not as a bug, but as a future enhancement/compatibility. Technically not in the scope of the refactor.

The implementation allows to create captures of specific amounts, but there's no UI/integration to show this nicely to the user (as there is for Refunds).
