TreeValProject redflag error

Description of the bug

Completion of the pipeline and collection of needed values results in a Failed to invoke handler.

This is caused by a value returning null when using something akin to ch_reference.value to pull a channel into params to be used by the TreeValProjects.summary function.

Only issue is that this seems to be a red flag, as the stats file still gets produced with the expected values... needs investigating.
