How to add a label to a point in the map?

I would like to add labels to the points of the map generated by pygmaps. I've 
read somewhere that the function has been implemented but the version available 
for the download doesn't have such feature. Is it possible to update the 
library version? Thanks. LM.

Adding a label is not working for me also. I've used the updated code but still
