  1. Open a markdown file with slate editor
  2. Select text and a color for it
  3. BOOM:

I think this is a bug in chrome, but wanted to record it here anyways.

This works fine in Edge and Firefox. So it's a Chrome bug. I don't know if we can workaround it easily or not.
