click event not working on a button inside no-options slot

• Vue Select Version: 2.6.4 and also 3.1.0

Describe the bug
The title pretty much sums up, but it can be seen on the example below

Expected behavior
click event should fire

It kind of works with focus/focusin but it seems to be called twice. I had to change the options to an empty array to get the button to show in the dropdown.
