Vero4K+?

Hi wondering if anyone already tried using rpiplay-osmc on Vero4k+ rather than a Pi4?

Hi stepir,

Just tried on a Vero4K+ running OSMC 2021.08-1. The prebuilt binary is linked against Raspberry-specific libbrcmGLESv2.so, so I tried building it directly on the Vero. It does build with some additional libraries, but when trying to execute, it again looks for libbrcmGLESv2.so.

I had a quick search in the original project (https://github.com/FD-/RPiPlay) and found this thread concerning 64bit OS'ses: https://github.com/FD-/RPiPlay/issues/166#issuecomment-748401986

I don't have the time to try further right now, but seems like there is more patching needed.

Hi Luka thanks a lot for your feedback - yes at the end I gave it a try and ended up with errors (can't remember now what) preventing it from working. If you have a Vero available, providing having also time :-), support for it would be appreciated! Happy to help in testing it or in other way I can.
