Introducing surveydown

Hi everyone! 👋

I've been a heavy formr user for years now, but I'm also a big user of Quarto / RMarkdown, and I always wished there was a similar platform like formr that could run R code during a survey but allowed me to design the survey using a .qmd file instead of a Google sheet. So I decided to build it!

Introducing surveydown: a flexible, open-source platform for making surveys with R, Quarto, Shiny, and Supabase.

The basic concept is:

1. Design your survey as a Quarto document using markdown and R code.
2. Convert your survey into a Shiny app that can be hosted online and sent to respondents.
3. Store your survey responses in a Supabase database (or any Postgres database).

The {surveydown} R package provides functions to bring this all together.

Since you're all formr users (and presumably people building surveys), I thought you may find surveydown useful. I'd appreciate any feedback you have! 🙏
