Hi I hope you can help, and I apologise in advance I am very new to this.

I have successfully, installed HomeBridge and it is running perfectly with Nest, Ring and Almost Harmony (;-))

I am struggling with the Lightwave Setup though... I have a Lightwave LINK Plus L2, but all of my dimmers are Lightwave Connect devices not smart... So I think this plugin will bridge the gap and make this hybrid system work with AppleKit.

I have installed the plugin, but I am struggling when editing the config file I keep getting syntax error when copying and pasting from here... Also I have installed the PacketSender app so I can pair the hub with HomeBridge, but have no idea what I am doing here...

Any help will be HUGELY appreciated!

Best wishes

@rooi Hi, I'd appreciate some help please. I think I've successsfully set up the lights but I also dont know how to usepacket sender at all. I can't tell which link model i have but it didnt seem to automatically work. I made the host section blank hoping it would automatically select the right one as im unsure but it didnt work so i followed the steps to find the room and device numbers manually. Now they're showing on homekit but they dont work. My lightwave model has a screen with 4 buttons on it if that helps, can you advise me on what steps to take next to make it work please? thanks

Hi @ty4mcq,

I think you can make it work using the following step.
-Please make sure that the ip address of the link is static and does not change (see you modem/router’s/dns settings)
-Specify this ip in homebridge
-Then restart homebridge
-Now send a command using the home app and check the link’s display. This should display a message asking you to allow making the connection.
