The option to submit markdown in post composition would prevent us from switching to the web app for formatted statuses.

Markdown posts are already being rendered by Tusky/Roma but no composition options.

This might also include pleroma's other formatting options:

HTML
BBCode
I searched or browsed the repo’s other issues to ensure this is not a duplicate.
