We used the Leap Trainer v.03 and recorded some still gestures. It recognized them brilliantly after training. However, when we used the JSON obtained from the Leap Trainer UI in our Desktop app which imports the Leap Trainer, checks the made gesture to the JSON using the imported Leap Trainer, the detection go all wrong.
While simultaneously running the Leap Trainer UI on the browser and running our desktop app, we noticed that the browser detects it accurately while the desktop app doesn't have much accuracy. Geometric Template Modelling algorithm was selected and training was done 4 training gestures.
Why does this happen? Both use the same leaptrainer.js files to record JSON. The same Leap Motion controller devices was used while recording in the Leap Trainer UI and while checking in the desktop app.
