To ensure that everyone feels welcomed and comfortable we encourage all our participants to follow our terms of this code of conduct. We request our participants to be considerate of others and behave professionally and respectfully to all other participants.
In the interest of creating a healthy and welcoming environment, we as contributors and maintainers pledge to ensure that the process of participating is a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, level of experience, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.
Examples of healthy actions that helps to create a welcoming environment:
- Using respectful language
- accepting constructive criticism in a healthy manner
- working for what is best for the community
- having empathy towards other community members
Examples of unacceptable actions
- Use of sexualized language or imagery and unwelcome sexual attention or advances
- Trolling, insulting, making disrespectful comments and making personal or political attacks
- Harassing someone publicly or privately
- Other conduct which could be considered disrespectful in a professional setting
Project maintainer are responsible to take appropriate and fair corrective action in response to any unacceptable behavior
Project maintainers have the right and duty to remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, wiki edits, issues, and other contributions that do not follow this Code of Conduct, or to ban temporarily or permanently any contributor for unhealthy behavior that could be seen inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful
This Code of Conduct must be followed both within the project spaces and outside when an individual is representing the project. Examples of representing a project could mean using an official project email address, posting via an official social media account, or acting as an appointed representative at an online or offline event.
Reporting an instance of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior can be done by contacting the project team at Microsoft Student Chapter, Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology. All reports will be reviewed and carefully investigated by our project team and will result in a response that is deemed fit with taking appropriate action. The project team will maintain confidentiality with regard to the reporter of the incident.
Project maintainers who do not follow the Code of Conduct may face temporary or permanent repercussions
