Two scenarios

I tried running this project locally by cloning it to my machine. After opening the project in PyCharm, I successfully downloaded the necessary dependencies. However, when I ran "make compile_frontend," I encountered an error stating that the "find" command had an incorrect format. Moreover, when I directly opened port 8080, I received a "Not Found" message, stating that the requested URL was not found on the server. If I entered the URL manually, it advised me to check the spelling and try again.

In the second scenario, when I attempted to install "gpt-code-ui" using "pip" and use "gptcode," the page appeared completely blank, and I couldn't access anything. Unfortunately, I'm unsure how to run this project despite finding it fascinating.

Could you post a screenshot of the network tab and console of your browser when attempting to load the project when installed through pip?

I think I have figured out these issues. There is a related problem description in StackOverflow, which is related to the different processing methods of Flask on Windows machines, Macs, and Linux machines. Simply change the corresponding registry on Windows.

Ah so it might be the registry state on Windows that’s causing mime issues. Did you try their proposed fix?

Of course, now I can open the page in Google Chrome and have not encountered any adverse reactions yet

Glad this fixed it! Hope other people can use this thread if they face the same issue. Perhaps we can patch it in a PR but I’m not sure at this stage what percentage of Windows systems is affected
