We have a question on searching in the Wiki. We are using AWS Cloud Search currently and it doesn't automatically wildcard a term, for example "holiday" doesn't hit on the word "holidays". Is anyone aware of a tweak to accomplish this or a another module that we can allow for that automatically, without the user needing to use special syntax?
I see that elastic can accomplish this with some extra syntax in the search bar. Was hoping that out of the box it would always wildcard or potentially be more inclusive / intelligent, because my users aren't typically aware. Misspellings, synonyms, concepts would be nice, but realize that might be a different conversation.
We are using MSSQL currently (because we happened to have it already) and will be moving to Postgres at some point in anticipation of the new version, so we can do that early or whatever would work.
Happy to also cover the cost of any custom development that might need to be done and then share the resulting code with the community.
