Hey @mxarcher !

Thanks for the issue!

I'll have to check out vi mode to get a grasp of what would be missing! Could you give me examples of what kind of feedback you are expecting?

I used to use powerlevel10k, it may give some help.
Just like when I enter the normal mode, show some symbols at right or left. For example, text like "NORMAL". But I don't know whether this change would fit the style of typewritten.
Or you can change the shape of cursor from underline to others like block.
Hope this will help you.

@reobin Any word on this? I'd be really keen to get the vi-mode indicator working with typewritten.

For info on vi-mode's indicator, see here.

Hi @kitallen23 !

I've been very busy with personal life matters, so tasks that might take a bit more time to do have been hard for me to take up. It's definitely in the plans for typewritten. I'll work on it soon.

Thank you for the link to the docs, definitely helpful.

In the meantime, if you'd like speed up the process and contribute, definitely don't hesitate to give it a shot and open a PR. I'll take any help I can take. 🌞

@reobin Thanks for getting back to me. I'll try and take a crack at opening a PR sometime soon.

Love your work on this project by the way, such a nice prompt :)
