The most important issue is to define the process of creating and using the database - the README.md states
This does not seem to be the case today, so I am providing the description of the process below, inspired by this YouTube presentation How to Install PostgreSQL and PgAdmin 4 on Mac OS. The Windows equivalent will be added soon
Step 1: Point the browser to https://www.postgresql.org/
Step 2: Click on the download link
Step 3: Click on macOS link on the download page
Step 4: Click on download the installer link to get EDB certified installer
Step 5: On the page Download PostgreSQL pick the version 14.3 for mac OSX
Step 6. Follow the installation instructions
Step 7: run the downloaded postgresql-14.3-1-osx.dmg package which will start EDB PostgreSQL Setup Wizard. Take all default settings that are proposed by the wizard
Step 8: Once the Wizard finishes, you can verify the installation of all component by issuing the command
ps -ef | grep postgres
. You should see:The .env file content
API Keys are on the page https://dashboard.stripe.com/test/apikeys
