Events page: You end up on a blank page if you alternate between tapping on events and filters

Description of issue

If you quickly tap on an event, then on a filter, then on an event again, the app breaks - showing a blank white page. The same happens if you do the opposite (tap on filter first).

On Android it is possible to use the hardware back button to get out of this state, but on iOS you're stuck ¯_(ツ)_/¯ The back swipe gesture doesn't do anything.

This may be resolved by fixing #441

Expected behaviour

It only opens the event or filter, depending on which is tapped first (or last?)

Steps to reproduce

• Open the events page
• Quickly tap on the top event, then date filter, then the top event again

App ends up on a blank white page
