I was replying to a thread and accidentally edited the To: line to [email protected] rather than the custom Community <[email protected]> address. I sent it and didn't get a bounce message, nor did the message post as a new thread. I didn't realize until days later that my reply had basically disappeared and not made it to the thread. Could Community or RC's mail server send an explicit bounce message in such circumstances?
