Changing granularity of time options to Weeks or Months

Problem Statement

It would be very helpful and amazing if there was an option to change the view options from days to weeks or months especially for project planning. This does not refer to the timespan but to the granularity of the columns from days to weeks or months. I could not find this option in the documentation nor in the issues.

Proposed Solution

Provide an option for the Scheduler to define the granularity of the columns. Optionally a handler function that sets this param would be helpful.

Expected Impact

The granularity of the columns can be changed to weeks and months.

Alternative Solutions

I currently could not find any alternative libraries that offer this great functionality that at the same time support a time granularity change.
