This package demonstrates the ability to perform the following tasks:
- access to ESA SciHub database (requires signin up to ESA SciHub)
- download of Sentinel-1 (GRD) images acquired between date_start and date_stop that instersect with point_coord
- download of Sentinel-2 images acquired between date_start and date_stop that instersect with point_coord
- group the downloladed images into sub-series of perfectly spatially superimposable images (INCOMPLETE for Sentinel-1)
- compute cumulative NDVI for each Sentinel-2 sub-series (See the sampleOutput directory in this repo for examples)
- compute the temporal mean of backscattering values for each Sentinel-1 sub-series (INCOMPLETE)
This package is designed to run on a linux operating system. It was tested on RHEL 8.
