I wanted to use the stagefright exploit on an andorid emulator. The android emulator is briged to be at the same network as the attacking machine so this shouldn´t be the issue. However when i start the exploit you can see that it isn´t stopping to send data, but it never opens a session. What could be the missing part so this works? On the android device i am just accessing the ip address with the 8080 port on a browser. Do i need to do something else? I also tried it with several different phones that were in the supported phone list. The port for the reverse tcp is open.
