ETCD role now showing in a bare metal K3os install

Upon configuring the master node with an yaml config file with --cluster-init listed under K3sarg the ETCD role still does not appear. Master and control plane role appears after typing kubectl get nodes. Is there an external site that is necessary for the etcd role to be install during deployment. The install completes with no errors. This is the fist node to be built.

I'm trying to determine if my web proxy is possibly blocking access some how.
