Hi @Kollarlm,

I think a lot of people will be interested by the tutorial you will develop!

To get started, I suggest you bring a dataset that could be used to do some HWE tests. I think a few packages can do it, do you know which one you want to use to start?

Running R on the cluster isn't too difficult. Depending on the interest in the class, I may do a quick lecture about it, otherwise, I can just show you. Do you have an account for the HPC?

Comment on this thread if you have any questions.

Cheers,

I'm also interested in knowing how to run analyses on the cluster.

I am also interested in the cluster, and in pop.gen packages as well. I also have a relatively simple dataset of microsatellite data from 3 loci to play around with, if you are interested Leslie.

Hi Judit,

I may take you up on that data set! I have a data set that Stuart is letting me use but I would not mind looking at microsatellite data as well. I have mainly been looking at a package called "genetics" at least that is what the reference manual called it.
