It is sad that searching the qilin on repology does not turn any results (here). It would be great if you could add it to the common package managers such as homebrew/macports, chocolatey/scoop, linuxbrew ...

Will do. However, I want to finish v1.0.0 first and get some feedback. There's still a lot of work to be done (#42) before publishing Qilin to any distributor.

Awesome. Looking forwards to see that.

Thanks, I appreciate that! Next week I'll start to work on the first (non-beta) release of Qilin Editor. Once all issues described in #42 are covered, I'll upload Qilin to common package managers, including Chocolatey.

The actual (pre-beta) version is still very experimental and buggy – I don't want to publish something that's not done yet. As described in the README.md:

Note: Qilin Editor and all related repositories are still in development - it might not be suitable for daily, intensive usage. […]

– README.md

So stay tuned for the next week and let's hope I'll get something working till next month! 😄
