I have Arch Linux with i3wm and on my laptop UI of this app is broken. There are no errors outputted. I add screenshot below:

Thanks for reporting this issue! It also happens on Mint. I guess it happens because those distributions doesn't support Chromium's experimental flags. I'll have a look at it once I find some spare time to work on the new release.
