What are you missing?

I have no way to copy already existing experiment information into a new experiment except for manually providing the input for variables and groups again.

Why do you need a solution?

One common use case is that we try an experiment with a small number of samples to see if the treatment has an effect. (As a pilot experiment)
If the treatment looks promising, more sample could be sent.
However, often the experimental variables and groups are adapted slightly so i cannot register it within the same experiment.

Ideas

One possibility could be to have a copy button next to an experiment, which creates a new experiment with the same name and a "-copy" suffix.
