Purpose of rebindings in Execute method

I've looked through Gremgo and Gremlin docs and i dont see a reference to "rebindings" and what their purpose is. Closest i could find is aliases for Graph and TraversalSource objects.

It was explained in 3.0.1-incubating version docs.
