The following test file produces an error when using subset-fonts.
test.pdf

mutool clean -S test.pdf
warning: dropping unclosed output
format error: Expected to rewrite an fdarray

The reason apparently is caused by the font 12, 'otf', 'Type0', 'Source Han Serif TC Regular', 'F1', 'Identity-H'.
