[ISSUE]: PS2 Slims don't work for ELECT adjust #11
Comments
I can confirm this same issue as well on a SCPH-70001 - GH-032-54 motherboard. |
Could you post pmap.log files here. |

@AKuHAK - any ideas on what I can try? Which model PS2 Slim unit(s) did you successfully test this on? |
Just following up - is there anything more that i should provide? |
@ngth82 currently there is no active work on this, this is can be due to weak lasers, I will check when I have time - I will convert some errors to warnings. |
@AKuHAK - Thank you. I appreciate it. |
Sorry to interrupt the conversation, but where can you get the mechacon UART testpoint for those models? I only found GH-051's on https://www.psdevwiki.com/ps2/Test_points/MechaCon_UART |
can you share your discord nickname? Ill add you into tester group. |

I'm running into a similar issue on a 75k slim (Gh-036 motherboard). If possible I would like to be added to the tester group on discord to discuss or lend a hand in testing. My username on discord is onefatsurfer Thanks! |

Describe the issue
Hello -
Thanks for maintaining the PMAP program. I saw that there was a recent update for supporting PS2 Slim units, but i can't seem to get the ELECT adjustments working on the slim. This works just fine on the fat units.
On the slim, they fail on the CD adjustment and don't go any further.
I've tried new PVR-802W lasers, including ones that are known good from a working console.
The issue occurs on:
SCPH-70012 - GH-032-12 motherboard
SCPH-75001 - GH-040-52 motherboard
SCPH-77001 - GH-051-51 motherboard
Is there a "trick" to getting PMAP to work with a slim?
The mechanical / jitter adjustment doesn't work either, but since there is no tilt adjustment on the laser or the sled, i just assumed this portion can be skipped.
Console model
SCPH-70012, SCPH-75001, SCPH-77001
