The search box responds to mouse up even though there's no corresponding mouse down event inside the bounds of the box
Steps to reproduce:
Expected: Nothing happens
Observed: The search box opens floating on the left side of the screen Can close it via ESC or the cancel
This is especially annoying since I seem to land my mouse in the search box after dragging the sliced view slider all the way up quite a lot
